黃蜂今(18)日在主場面隊東區勁旅76人，而陣中頭號球星Kemba Walker也砍下了破紀錄的60分，但是剛轉隊來費城的Jimmy Butler，卻在延長賽最後時刻用一次關鍵的阻攻及一顆絕殺三分球為球隊捍衛住了勝利，終場76人以122:119戰勝對手。
此役雙方前3節打完僅僅只差距4分，比賽結束前1分半鐘，76人還領先對手4分，但Walker此時挺身而出，先是上籃得手，接著又飆進三分球，幫助球隊反而超前1分。之後76人靠著罰球追平比數，兩隊以110:110將比賽逼進到延長賽。
延長賽裡76人靠著JJ Redick的神射重新建立起領先優勢，但Walker不打算將勝利拱手讓人，頂住壓力跳投得分，而Jeremy Lamb還完成「三分打」幫助球隊追平比數。
比賽終了前15.7秒，Walker持球切入但卻被Butler給狠狠的賞了一記大火鍋，而且後者還把球救到界內。最後一擊的機會，76人把球交給Butler操刀，他也不負眾望的在剩下0.3秒時投進一錘定音的三分球，幫助球隊帶走勝利。
Walker今年開季屢飆高分，今天更是砍下生涯新高的60分，成為隊史首位拿到60分的球員，另外還有7助攻和4抄截，但可惜在記錄之夜，球隊卻無法用一場勝利來為他慶祝。
76人方面，Joel Embiid拿到33分、11籃板的「雙十」成績，Ben Simmons也有23分、11籃板9助攻的準「大三元」表現，Redick同樣也砍下23分。而Butler雖然只有15分，但最後時刻的關鍵攻防卻價值連城。
