 死亡車禍！前統一洋將、天使強打身亡

委內瑞拉傳來令人心碎的消息，37歲曾效力過統一7-ELEVEn獅隊的洋將卡斯提（Jose Castillo）、33歲前休士頓太空人強打Luis Valbuena今（7）日在一場車禍中雙雙身亡，死訊經過兩人同屬的球隊發言人證實。

根據《ESPN》報導，這起死亡車禍是在卡拉卡斯，一同在委內瑞拉職棒亞拉紅雀隊效力的Castillo、Valbuena離開球場後發生，當局聲稱，事發原因是因為閃避落石而衝到對向，駕駛是曾短暫效力過波士頓紅襪的Carlos Rivero，最後Rivero生還，Castillo、Valbuena雙雙身亡。

Valbuena在大聯盟征戰11個球季、1011場比賽，留下3571打席、710安打、114轟、367打點、11盜、374保送、377得分數據，2015球季效力休士頓太空人時擊出25發全壘打是他單季最佳紀錄，今年8月被天使隊釋出後回到家鄉打球。

卡斯提是在2009年5月加盟統一，該季出賽73場交出320打席、91安打、13轟、65打點、20盜壘、21保送、46得分數據，打擊三圍.314／.356／.500，10月初因母親病重離台。

 花蓮慈濟誤拿尿液注射 病患10天亡

花蓮慈濟爆離譜醫療疏失，護理人員誤將病患「尿液檢體」當成「生理食鹽水」，混入白蛋白後注射到一名肝硬化病患體內，直到約6天後才告知家屬，害病患不幸於10天後過世，家屬怒控院方第一時間隱瞞未告知且說詞反覆，盼院方能給個交代；但院方卻稱病患未感染，家屬竟索討數百萬賠償金，無法接受！

據《中時電子報》報導，蔡姓家屬表示，68歲父親為長期肝硬化病患，上月底到花蓮慈濟醫院進行例行性回診，醫師認為父親的肝指數偏高，要求住院觀察，當晚安排施打白蛋白，怎料護理人員卻誤將一病患尿液檢體當作生理食鹽水，混入白蛋白打入父親體內，大約6天後才告知家屬，害父親10多天後過世。

家屬指控，起初院方並未告知，直到家屬提出質疑，院方才坦承此事，但說詞反覆，從一開始坦承有打入尿液，又改口說有回抽，最後變成尿液壓不進去，所以尿液應未進入父親體內；但家屬質疑「如果沒打入尿液，院方為何緊張到要打抗生素？」且家屬曾向院方要父親的血液培養報告，但院方卻一直藉故不給。

對此，花蓮慈濟醫院院長林欣榮解釋，事件發生在小夜班，護理人員誤注射尿液後，因阻力甚大並未順利推入管路，同時間另一名護理人員察覺後，立即反抽並拔除點滴管路，因此尿液可能並未進入患者體內，2名護理人員隨即通報值班主治醫師，並進行兩套血液培養，接著給予預防性抗生素。

林欣榮表示，由於血液培養完全未長菌，病患並未因此感染，病患為長年肝硬化患者，此次入院為急性肝衰竭，且有嚴重腹水，當時主治醫師即告知家屬，病情極為嚴重，希望家屬有心理準備；另強調事發後護理部已啟動調查程序，並進行檢討改進，已會同護理部主管向家屬致歉，主動吸收全部醫療及看護費用，但家屬仍提出數百萬元賠償，讓院方無法接受。
